Chest: Heartburn

 

Reflux or heartburn (GERD) means that you have backflow of stomach acid from the stomach into the esophagus. It happens when the stomach mouth=cardia cannot close, so stomach acid can leak out.

Symptoms

 

  • Chest discomfort, chest pain
  • Cough
  • Heartburn
  • Acid reflux
  • Nausea
  • Burping, hiccups or bloating

The treatment will consist of
